JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a critical executive role tasked with all revenue-generating processes within the company. The CRO is responsible for defining and maintaining the revenue strategy, aligning all revenue-related activities including marketing, sales, customer support, and revenue management. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively collaborate across various departments to drive overall growth and ensure the financial success of the organization.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:
  • Leading the strategy and execution of all sales, marketing, and customer service activities to drive business growth and market share.

  • Aligning and optimizing the customer journey to maximize revenue.

  • Developing and implementing robust sales management processes to track and drive revenue.

  • Collaborating with other C-level executives to align company goals with revenue outcomes.

  • Regularly analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of revenue strategies to the board and other stakeholders.

  • Forecasting and managing revenue streams, identifying risks and opportunities throughout the business.

  • Establishing clear metrics and KPIs to measure performance across all revenue-generating departments.

  • Cultivating key customer relationships and participating in strategic sales opportunities.

  • Other duties as assigned, etc.

DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.

  • Extensive experience in revenue generation in a high-growth environment.

  • Strong executive presence with stellar interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.

  • Exceptional ability to drive sales teams and forge strong business partnerships.

  • Agile and innovative thinker capable of transitioning strategy into execution.

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in senior sales or revenue-focused roles, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership position.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).

  • Experience in the specific sector pertinent to the company (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance).

  • Proven record of increasing revenue streams significantly for a large, complex organization.

  • International business experience is a plus, especially if the company operates globally.

 CERTIFICATIONS:

  • While not required, certifications such as Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) or Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP) can be beneficial.
