JOB DESCRIPTION
Digital Factory is looking for a Product Manager Intern with a wide skill set to develop, test and analyze the core Digital Factory products. The intern will be responsible for contributing to the development of the products which will be utilized by businesses and brands. A successful candidate will have strong technical ability, great communication and interpersonal skills. This is an unpaid internship with opportunities to gain real life experiences and career development.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:

The intern in this role will assist in the following

  • The primary responsibility of the product manager is driving the product development and setting the overall product strategy.

  • Translate user requirements into product features and lead development team to construct a Minimum Viable Product ( MVP ) 

  • Maintain communication with key stakeholders

  •  Analyzes market and competitive situations and collaborates with the team to develop a product vision that offers unique value by addressing customer challenges.

  •  Identify risks and help to resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

  • Assists the team with product execution 

  • Research key business data using statistical analysis and data mining to understand historical patterns that can be utilized to improve business performance

  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Applied work experience related to the skills required.

  • Proven experience building roadmaps and plans

  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

  • Data Analysis skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed product decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, marketing, and sales to drive product success.

  • Previous experience working remotely or in a distributed team environment.

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
