Every year thousands of ghosts, witches, and superheroes roam the neighborhoods in search of one thing, satisfying their sweet tooth. Halloween is a widely adopted tradition. In 2013, over 41 million kids ages 5 to 14 trick-or-treated in the U.S. alone. However, consumers today don’t necessarily go for that sugar rush right away, as "41% of consumers buy candy during the first two weeks of October and 25% wait until the last two weeks, while a third buy in September." (Time)
